OK only the real die-hard Jennicam fans are left here, so
hopefully I can get a good answer to this...

Didn't Jennifer go to college and major in some computer science
related field? She also set up and maintained her website herself,
right? So why couldn't she land a more skilled position somewhere?
Why did she end up with a job that "anyone" can do?

Maybe she went to college but didn't graduate? I was never clear
on that point...

In case you haven't heard the news lately, the tech job market is in
the crapper. A lot of US companies are outsourcing their programming
positions to India. GW Bush assures this will help our economy, but
doesn't explain how.

Seriously, she had a good job with National geographic, but she soon lost
it(her job that is) and was relying on the money jennicam.com was bringing
in, but when that dried up she moved to San Fran, and got a "real" job.

I can't say what prompted her to do that, but she had some sort of mental
breakdown.

For that matter, how does Ana Voog survive?

Jennifer went to a small liberal arts school in the East. I believe that
her major was econ. She claims to have graduated from there.

The world is full of people who set up and maintained their own web site.
She always seemed to me to be more of a "people" person rather than a
computer techie.
