I found your site back when you were living in DC. Really enjoyed
seeing you on cam and reading your journal.

I'm sorry to say what I'll probably remember you for is what you did
to Courtney. Of course that whole drama was sort of the pinnacle of
the JenniCam experience. People got to see you sleep, eat, socialize,
play games, have sex. And in the end, when you had a major life
changing test of character, people got to see you spectacularly fail it.

You were an innovator. I'm sure you'll end up as a footnote in
internet history. Of course, considering all you've done, that may
seem either exciting or terrifying. :)

We, as spectators should've come-up with a solution to help Jenni keep the
site up.
It costs a lot to keep a site like that and criticism won't help either!
I think it's time for her to settle down and have a private life.
We should respect that.

She did a lot for us and in return what have we done for her?? not much!

Good luck Jenni.
We love you.

What the fuck did Jenni ever do for anyone? All she did was fuck some
idiots in the internet for as much money as she could. Now that she doesn't
fuck on cam anymore, no one will pay her. Duh. She had a pretty good life
there for a while, and you can bet your own rent money that, if she were
still making money at this, the cam wouldn't be going anywhere. You can
also bet that once Dex is out of the picture, JenniCam will be back. Soon
enough, Jenni will tire of both her job and Dex, find a guy who'll truely
support her whoring out her dignity for a subscription, and JenniCam will
make a triumphant return. You can book it, Dano.

To actually thank Jenni, and tell her that you love her (barf!), is so
sickening as to actually make me retch. The assholes (like you, obviously)
who fell in love with her (while no doubt beating off to her fuck shows),
really need to take a step back and re-examine their lives. You were a
CUSTOMER. Nothing more, nothing less. If you weren't paying her, you were
nothing whatsoever.

Obviously you are one of the ones who only watched her webcam and jerked
off.
Others, like myself, were not much interested with the webcam, but her art.
Have you ever noticed that she had art on her site?
Her web design, journals, the earlier pictures and other features on her
site were really unique and art.
You don't realize that sometimes you appreciate art of others, like Picasso
or Rembrandt, but what have those artists contributed to us that make them
distinguished?? same thought goes for Jenni, she pioneered or 'invented' a
form of art and we should appreciate it.

Bzzt. Sorry, this was Jenni's project, pure and simple, a project
that became a vanity project. She wanted the attention, she should
foot the bill.

It was time for her to do that about the time she got herself fired
from National Geographic. In any case, I wish her the best of luck.

Sorry, maybe I missed it, but what exactly did Jenni do for us? Point
a camera at herself and broadcast the resulting pictures to the world?
The end, at least temporarily, of Jennicam isn't exactly the
equivalent of the death of Mother Teresa. And the end of Jennicam is
probably at lest three or four years past due, it's not like someone
like Ted Williams hanging it up in his prime.

I don't know why anyone was fascinated with her. I've found some pictures
of her
fucking Dex on this site and others and to tell you the truth, I found them
revolting.
She's overweight and not very attractive at all. I can't understand why
people would
pay to see her naked. Now if you want to see a really good webcam girl who
doesn't
fuck on camera but she does do her job, snuggle with her honey and her
animals,
and just show a regular normal job, check out Mandycam about a girl in
Australia.
The url is http://www.mandycam.tv and then you'll see a real attractive
girl.

She gave us a reason to come here and enjoy the wit and humor of all the old
timers. (you know who you are and I don't want to get anyone upset by
forgetting anyone.)

You got to be kidding! She wasn't anything special. Did she save
someone's life? House homeless people? Do charity drives to raise
money for the poor or starving? Give me a fucking break. She did
NOTHING.

And just because someone who got paid to sit on her ass in front of a
camera day after day got so bored that she created pictures using
adobe filters doesn't make her an artist. It makes her unbelievably
fucking boring. What the fuck is with you poeple! She is just
another dull typical american girl, who gives blow jobs, owns a
vibrator and likes to have fingers stuck up her ass.

Look, someone had to be the first. Some bitch was the first to show
her tits in playboy, some bitch was the first to get fucked in a porno
and some chick had to be the first to show her tits on a webcam.
Being the first in any of those situations doesn't mean shit, and it
sure as hell doesn't make them a fucking artist. IT MAKES THEM A
FUCKING COCK TEASE.

What about the car wash?

:-)

Seriously, what did Ed Sullivan ever do? He didn't sing. He didn't
dance. He didn't play an instrument. He just found people who could do
those things very well and invited them on his show. He was an
entertainer. That's what Jenni did. She entertained a lot of people.

This may be the first time I've seen Jenni compared with Picasso or
Rembrandt. Sheesh, can you imagine...

From History of Art, Ninth Edition (originally by Jansen, revised by
Wilner, c. 2043)

===================================
Some of the pioneers are known mainly by their first names. van Gogh
was known as "Vincent", the Renaissance masters as "Leonardo",
"Michelangelo", and "Raphael". In the last years of the Twentieth
Century, it was "Jenni".

The importance of Ringley's art cannot be underestimated. Who can
doubt the running symbolism of her work, from the frequent use of a
blue office chair as the sole subject to the frequent stark usage of a
large marital aid? And those frequent self portraits that surely
rival those of Rembrandt, that show the angst that faced youth during
the waning years of the Twentieth Century have a special resonance
that cannot be denied. This is, of course, not to mention the pieces
that have come to be known as the "Oozing Love" series with her
paramour, known to posterity as Dex. Much like her rivalry with one
of the era's other great artists, Ana Voog, and the master of
art-as-marketing, Thomas Kinkade, Jenni's work is a mirror of the
times she lived in. Even her plaintive pleas for gifts from her
patrons can be seen as a comment on the rigors of capitalism.

Of course, Ringley had her detractors, but so did Picasso and
practically every other major innovator. Laugh though they did,
Ringley's work is a reminder of the futility of the early days of
Cyber-culture.

===end excerpt ===========================

"But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that
all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they
laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright Brothers. But they also
laughed at Bozo the Clown."

Oh puh-leeeze!! What a load of crap. Yes, Jennicam is art -- just
like a 3 year old scribbling on a piece of paper is art.
